Tkay Maidza releases new banger 'IDC If U Be Ded'

Australian major star in the making Tkay Maidza today releases new single ‘IDC If U Be Ded’. Originally teased at the tail end of the video for her previous single ‘Awake’, the single is a attitude soaked banger which sees Maidza continue to move her sound back towards the rap hip hop sound of her earliest releases after the electropop vibes of 2016 debut album TKAY and the smooth R&B beats of last year’s EP Last Year Was Weird (Vol. 1).

“We made ‘IDC’ whilst wrapping up other songs,” says Maidza. “I’m trying not to overthink things and just do whatever feels good again. We came up with the hook and basis of the track in a short amount of time and then came back to do the verses another day when we realised how fun the song was.”

‘IDC If U Be Ded’ is the second single from Maidza’s upcoming new EP Last Year Was Weird Vol. 2, which is due for release early next year. You can stream and download the single now.
