Mila Nile launches 2021 with new single 'Too Much Like Love'

Sydney-via-Sweden’s Mila Nile today releases her new single, the chilled out, electronica ‘romantic anti-love song’ ‘Too Much Like Love’.

Following up her impressive 2020 releases the melancholic electropop ‘Cranes’ and the divine dancefloor synthbop ‘Break My Heart to the Beat’, Nile takes her music down a mellower path with ‘Too Much Like Love’ which winds it way around your soul with its lush, almost angelic chorus and dreamy verses all held together by her trademark electronic beats. Working with LA-based producer HVTCH, Nile says the song tells the story of “trying to avoid getting entangled in a relationship and failing miserably.”

“It's a shimmery bop that ought to soundtrack a cute montage from a 500-Days-Of-Summer-esque romcom, inspired by my relationship with my songwriting partner,” she explains. “We met at a time when we were both determined to stay single and independent, yet try as we might couldn't help falling for each other. Oops.”

Nile is an artist who has come into her own over the past 12 months and is creating some of her best music yet, full not just of gorgeous melodies and relatable lyrics but also of real heart and soul. With her debut EP set for release in the middle of this year, there is a lot to look forward to from Mila Nile this year.

‘Too Much Like Love’ is out now. You can download on iTunes and stream on Apple Music, Spotify and Soundcloud.
