Superstar Meghan Trainor today has released new single ‘Still Don’t Care’, her first solo single in over a year, and had backed it up with the announcement she will release her seventh full length album Toy With Me on April 24 2026.

An infectious, breezy pop track, ‘Still Don’t Care’ takes aim at Trainor’s critics and the flak she has endured over the years, but delivers it wrapped up in a message of empowerment. ‘Let me take a moment, think it over / Does it touch me at all? / Nope, I still don't care’ she sings before owning everything ‘Say I'm too confident, yeah, it's probably true.’

“‘Still Don’t Care’ really sets the tone for this whole Toy With Me era — it’s bold, fun, a little cheeky, and full of confidence,” Trainor says. “This song came from a place of growth for me; I’m learning to care less about perfection and more about what actually makes me happy. I'm learning to shake off negativity, choosing joy, and living life my way — because at this point in my life and career, I’m ready to be done worrying about pleasing everyone. ‘Still Don’t Care’ is my reminder to myself - and to anyone who’s ever felt judged.”

Trainor says the confidence and self-empowerment that runs through ‘Still Don’t Care’ is also the inspiration behind her new album.

Toy With Me feels like the most honest and fearless I’ve ever been — it’s all about self-confidence, freedom, and learning how to meet people where they are at,” she says. “I wanted to kick off this new chapter with a song that makes people feel unstoppable, and I can’t wait to bring that same energy to everyone on The Get In Girl Tour next summer.”

Last year Trainor celebrated ten years of chart success, after her global number one smash hit ‘All About That Bass’ swept the world in June 2014. She also embarked on her first tour in eight years, and was also awarded the Hitmaker Award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards.

Now, and into next year, she launches the next era of her music (along with a palette change from blue to pink) and embraces a second decade of creating incredible pop music.
