Jorja Smith drops new "summer love song" 'With You'

British artist Jorja Smith, currently in the middle of her world tour, today releases her new single, ‘With You’.

A skittering, electronic ballad, it is a song of brilliant juxtaposition as Smith’s beautiful, restrained vocal glides over an at times frenetic soundscape - the amalgamation of a power ballad with a club ready dance track.

Smith, who calls the song “A love song for the summer!”, sings of a deep love that has allowed her to heal from past hurts. "‘I’ve been hurt so bad / You’re meant to be in my life…so I’m lucky I get to call you mine.’

Also out today is the music video for ‘With You’, directed by Ivor Lawson-Adamah. It mirrors the sense of connection and emotions present in the song, with a glorious cinematic look.

‘With You’ follows on from ‘The Way I Love You’, a dancefloor gem released in May that hit the top 40 on the UK Singles Chart. Currently performing in Europe as part of her Falling or Flying Tour, Smith will head to North America in August, followed by shows in Japan and South America, as well as performing at the UK’s FORWARDS Festival.

One of pop music’s most compelling artists, Smith has been an incredibly special artist from her debut release in 2016. Crossing R&B, soul, pop, garage and electronic dance her music connects in every way possible. An artist that continues to evolve and surprise, Smith’s 2025 output is continuing to impress and ‘With You’ is the latest highpoint in her brilliant career.
