E^ST releases new single 'Fresh Out Of Love'

Singer-songwriter E^ST (real name Melisa Bester) today releases stunning new single ‘Fresh Out of Love’. Bester’s first release of the year, the song is an epic, lushly produced anthem that mixes an electropop beat with a soulful, sweeping chorus that echoes the sounds of both 1930s jazz ballads and 1960s psychedelic pop.

The perfect antidote to Valentine’s Day, ‘Fresh Out of Love’ is a melancholic, raw farewell to love. “This song is about feeling really empty after realising you’ve given all your love to someone who doesn’t love you back,” Bester says. “My music’s always been driven by my emotional state. It’s the way I express how I’m feeling, but just as often it’s how I find out how I’m feeling.”

Bester has been releasing music since 2014 when she self-released her debut EP Old Age at just 16. She has quietly build a sold reputation for one of the most creative and talented young artists on the Australian music scene, achieving over 500,000 streams each month on Spotify, supporting the likes of Panic! At The Disco and Twenty One Pilots on tour and writing for artists such as Noah Cyrus and Nicole Millar. 2020 looks sets to be even bigger with the release of her debut album I’m Doing It later in the year.
