Rising star Yorke today releases the latest single in her series of reworks, ‘love on the run’ featuring acclaimed Japanese singer-songwriter Yuka.

A sparkling synth pop tune with a dark undercurrent, ‘love on the run’ takes on additional layers and a whole new language thanks to Yuka’s contributions, who Yorke first met last year when she was supporting indigo la End in Japan. Known for her relatable lyrics and gorgeous melodies, Yuka’s 2023 single ‘Baby You’ was a global hit, with over 40 million Spotify streams and a staggering 8 billion views on social media.

‘love on the run’ is the latest in a series of releases that has seen Yorke rework songs from her 2025 unfinished business EP, featuring artists from across the globe: ‘sorry in advance’ with Japanese band indigo la End, ‘the villain’ featuring New Zealand’s Wells*, and ‘i wanna hate you’ with South Korean singer-songwriter Alice U.

These singles, along with two other collaborations with rising Vietnamese star MINH and Sydney’s electronic duo Hellcat Speedracer, will feature on Yorke’s new EP finished business , due for release on 10 April.

“This collaboration EP and shining light on artists I adore from across the globe has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve done. I’ve learnt so much from every feature, with each artist injecting their own individual magic into their chosen song,” Yorke says. “It brings a new light to the EP, transforming each moment into something completely new and exciting. I’m the biggest fan of Indigo, Yuka, Hellcat, Alice U, Minh and WELLS*, and can’t wait to share the final project. Very honoured all these incredible, diverse, insanely talented artists gave their time and energy to this. Collaboration forever!”

After releasing her debut single in 2019, Yorke’s success has been growing every year. With over 48 million streams to her name, she has achieved global success, particularly across Asia where her song ‘window shopping’ went viral. Japanese rock band indigo la End used her single ‘like in the movies’ as their walk-on song for their national Japanese tour, and her music has been shared by K-Pop stars TWICE and SIXTones. This April Yorke will make her second trip to Japan, performing at the CUEW Music Festival and Conference from 9-12 April in Shibuya, Tokyo, cementing her promise as one of Australia’s future global superstars.
