Charlie Collins announces new album 'Undone' will be released in March

Australian indie-pop artist Charlie Collins today announces her second album Undone will be released on March 11 2022.

The following up to her ARIA nominated and AIR Award winning debut album, 2019’s Snowpine, Undone was started two years ago and was born from a place of pain and regret as she went through a marriage breakup. Collins scrapped the first version of the album as she began to rediscover her sense of freedom and wildness.

“I’m so excited to share this next chapter with you all,” Collins says. “This record is some of the most honest, vulnerable music I’ve ever written and I expose a lot of who I am and what I was going through. I was excited to explore different sides of myself musically, from the wild side to the fragile, broken side of myself which reflected a lot in the sounds that came out. Thank you for sticking by me and I can’t wait for you to hear this album.”

Featuring the singles ‘Fuck It’, ‘Honey Can We Run Away', ‘Just My Luck’ and the recently released title track, the album sees Collins for the first time letting external collaborators into her creative world to help her craft the album, part of her letting go process. Xavier Dunn (Jack River, GRAACE), Gabriel Strum (aka Japanese Wallpaper) and Jarryd James contributed to production duties and for the first time ever Collins self-produced two tracks, ‘Could I Have Loved You Anymore’ and ‘November’.

Today Collins also announces a headline tour to support the album. The Undone Album Tour kicks off in Brisbane on April 30 before shows in Melbourne and Sydney.

Previously a member of pop band Tigertown, Collins launched her solo career in 2018 and has since accumulated 5 million global streams. Years in the making, Undone is Collins at her absolute best and is destined to be one of the top Australian albums of 2022.
