Mimi Webb releases new single 'Dumb Love'

UK rising star Mimi Webb today releases her new single ‘Dumb Love’. The song is a heartfelt, melancholic, soul-infused pop ballad looking back on first love. “You were that sweet, sweet pain / Oh, I've tried but can't deny / I've never been the same / We had that young love / We had that dumb love” she sings.

Growing up in the UK town of Canterbury, Webb was Inspired by artists such Amy Winehouse, Emelie Sandé, and Sam Smith and starting writing music when she was 13. She then went on to impressive music educational achievements, including attending the BRIT School (Adele, Amy Winehouse, Jessie J) before studying at the British Institute of Modern Music.

After uploading some of her music online in 2019, she scored a record deal with Epic Records, releasing her first single ‘Before I Go’ in 2020. Three more singles followed, with close to 90 million global streams to her name.

With an absolutely killer voice and the ability to create magnetic, totally captivating music that expertly relays the conflicting emotions of young love and growing up, Mimi Webb is shaping up to be the next breakthrough British superstar.
