Chelsea Warner releases new single 'Back On My Bullshit'

Multi-talented singer, songwriter, producer Chelsea Warner today releases her third single ‘Back On My Bullshit’, featuring Sumatra and Zyad. The follow up to Warner’s stunning debut single, the soul-R&B flavoured ‘How Come You Don’t Pick Up Your Phone’, and May’s dynamic collaboration with Harry Fox ‘Ignite’, ‘Back On My Bullshit’ sees Warner stick with R&B inspired sounds but also riffing on the vibes of the 1990s pop scene with hints of classic Britney Spears and Destiny’s Child.

Lyrically, the song is a cheeky but powerful anthem to putting yourself first. "“Back On My Bullshit' is a track about being unapologetically selfish in the name of putting yourself first - without worrying about ramifications,” Warner says. “It represents a shift in focus from over-investing in others, to putting that energy back into yourself. This song is for every recovering people pleaser. Despite being unashamedly problematic, it is all for seeking the finer things in life by chasing only self-fulfilment.”

In her short career, Warner has proven to be an artist with remarkable versatility and talent. Still studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, she single-handedly launched her solo music career - writing and producing her debut single on her own - while also writing and producing music with some of the brightest young artists in the country today including Emalia, Nardean, Sarah Wolfe and Sarah Saint James. While professing a love for the soul and R&B sounds of the 1990s and 2000s, ‘Back On My Bullshit’ with its glitchy synths and electro beats shows Warner can mix it up and authentically inhabit any sonic landscape she turns to. Expect even greater things from this young artists in the coming 12 months.
