Memphis LK releases new single 'Green Light'

Melbourne’s Memphis LK today releases her first new music of 2020 with the single ‘Green Light’. An electropop anthem with a driving bassline, coupled with Memphis’s unique vocal stylings and clever lyrics it is the kind of pop that makes you feel instant joy and highlights Memphis’s ability to create music that really stands out from the pack - it is instantly recognisable but with a completely new sonic spin.

The single is accompanied by a home made video created during isolation. “‘Green Light’ is like driving round in fast cars or being out at a club and dancing with your friends, and these are all things we can’t do in isolation,” Memphis says. “When I was conceptualising the video I was trying to think of ways to create different worlds in our apartment and still capture that party energy. Turns out you can have a pretty okay time dancing alone with a projector in the lounge room.”

‘Green Light’ is out now via Dot Dash / Remote Control and you can listen here.

To keep up with all things Memphis LK you can follow her on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
