Chanel Loren teams up with Forest Claudette on new single 'Fantasy Camera'

Published: 19 November 2025

British-Caribbean, Australian based rising star Chanel Loren today releases her new single ‘Fantasy Camera’, featuring award winning artist Forest Claudette.

Written by Loren with Claudette, Oscar Sharah and Patrick Byrne, ‘Fantasy Camera’ is a dreamy, nostalgic funk-R&B song with Loren’s voice moving from a more direct, conversational tone to a gorgeously ethereal higher tone that speaks of emotions that are fleeting and dream-like that float away sooner than you can fully grasp them.

The song explores being present in the moment with the person you love, locking everything away in your memory without the aid of electronic devices: ‘The sight of you / Tattooed on my eyes’

“It's about living fully in every moment with someone you love. I wanted to write a song that captured the essence of being in love and how the good memories sustain you through the harder times,” Loren says. “The eyes become a camera hoarding memories, storing every fleeting moment you never want to forget. I first came up with the idea a few years ago after seeing a random photo on Pinterest (wish I could remember what it was lol). I wasn’t sure which sonic direction to take but everything clicked when I had a session with Pat and Oscar. The track truly came to life once Forest Claudette jumped on it.”

‘Fantasy Camera’ is the follow up to October’s ‘Autopilot’, which was Loren’s first release since she dropped her debut EP BETWEEN2WORLDS in July last year. Loren’s career has steadily built since her debut single ‘Playlist’ in 2022, and in 2023 she received an ARIA Awards nomination for Best Soul/R&B Release. ‘Fantasy Camera’ continues Loren’s new era with a gorgeous new sound and the promise of more incredible music to come.

‘Fantasy Camera’ is out now via Sony Music Australia. You can stream and download here.
