BLOXX release new single 'Off My Mind'

British indie band BLOXX have released the third single ‘Off My Mind’ from their upcoming debut album Lie Out Loud. Hot on the heels of previous singles ‘Coming Up Short’, ‘Lie Out Loud’ and ‘Thinking About Yourself’, which together have accumulated close to 2 million streams, ‘Off My Mind’ continues the band’s change in musical direction to create a more pop-based sound whilst staying true to their indie roots. Full of memorable melodies, a subtle yet addictive guitar bass line and a chorus that compels you to sing along at full volume. The track was recently named Hottest Record of the Week by Annie Mac on her BBC Radio 1 show and the buzz is already building for BLOXX’s debut album due August 28.

Formed in 2016 by lead singer Fee Booth, BLOXX gained attention with their very first release ‘Your Boyfriend’ and have gone on to score over 20 million streams of their music and complete tours across Europe and The USA. The band have been at work on their debut album for some time and have written with prolific writers such as Jenn Decliveo (Hinds, Anne-Marie), James Dring (Jamie T, Loyle Carner), Larry Hibbit (Nothing But Thieves) and Luke Fitton (Sundara Karma). “The new songs are all so different,” Booth says of the album. “And while we still have Kings of Leon-style guitars, melody and arrangement-wise it’s definitely a bit poppier. Also we want to open ourselves up so we stop getting called grunge.”

‘Off My Mind’ is out now. You can download on iTunes and stream on Apple Music and Spotify.
