British singer-songwriter Alice D today returns with new single ‘One Day, Maybe’. Written and produced with Tim Blok, the track is beautifully quirky, beginning with gentle, soulful verses before amping up into a vibrant, beat driven 70s tinged chorus drenched in summery vibes. Alice’s voice, always an impressive instrument, has rarely sounded better: rich, warm, expressive and displaying superb range from feather soft to full throated passion through to a higher register. It perfectly encapsulates the mood of the lyrics, crossing from anxiety - ‘have I lost my mind?’ - about a failing relationship through to peace and acceptance. “It shines light on the conflicting thoughts and feelings you have in a relationship that you know deep down isn't working but you still go back and forth in your mind, eventually realising - in the middle 8 section - your worth,” Alice says of the song.

2020 has been once of Alice D’s most productive years to date, releasing her second EP Lioness in April and three singles to date. An artist of remarkable talent and potential since she first started releasing music in 2014, her output this year, including ‘One Day, Maybe’ sees her continually raising the bar creatively, building a soundscape that encompasses multiple genres but is beholden to none. This is truly special music that needs to be a part of your life. Tune in now.
